KUALA LUMPUR: A businessman closely associated to Datuk Soh Chee Wen has been made a bankrupt in Singapore and the Court of Appeal here wants to know if he can continue with his appeal in Malaysia without the sanction of the republic’s official assignee.

Due to the different stands taken by lawyers for both sides, Court of Appeal judges Justices Denis Ong, Saari Mohd Yusoff and Richard Malanjum yesterday adjourned the appeal to Friday.
