KUALA LUMPUR: Attorney-General Datuk Seri Panglima Abdul Gani Patail obtained leave from the Federal Court yesterday to intervene in an appeal involving the constitutionality of Section 72 of the Danaharta Act, a law which gives the national asset management body immunity from injunctions.
Abdul Gani, who appeared with his chambers’ civil division head, Datuk Azahar Mohamad, and senior federal counsel Datuk Mary Lim, is to file related affidavits within four weeks.
