TAMPIN: KTM Berhad (KTMB) will in future be alerted of possible floods to avert a recurrence of last Monday’s train derailment, Tampin district officer Mohd Yusof Yunus said yesterday.

He said currently, the state Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) would only inform the district natural disaster operations centre when it detected a sudden rise in floodwaters.
