PENANG: The Central Ad Hoc Action Committee Against PORR has urged Penang Umno to nominate another councillor from Umno as the alternate chairman of the Penang Municipal Council's Building and Planning committee.
Its co-ordinator, Linda Lim, said the group was against Datuk Ahmad Ismail as he was also the executive chairman of Peninsular Metroworks Sdn Bhd, the concessionaire of the proposed RM1.02bil Penang Outer Ring Road.
