CYBERJAYA: Malaysia will increase promotional activities for new tourism markets in India, Dubai and the Middle East and step up efforts in the Oriental markets to counter the effects of an impending US war against Iraq.
Deputy Culture, Arts and Tourism Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen said those markets would be the country’s primary markets and people there would be encouraged to travel to Malaysia in the event of any major conflict.
