PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia and Singapore went into a verbal sparring match over the disputed Pulau Batu Puteh and brought in other unresolved bilateral issues immediately after they signed a special agreement yesterday to refer the island’s ownership to the International Court of Justice.
The exchange of words that took place between their foreign ministers turned the joint press conference after the signing into an awkward moment.
