KUALA LUMPUR: The Culture, Arts and Tourism Ministry, together with the Islamic religious councils nationwide, will hold tahlil (prayers to remember the departed) sessions and other religious activities to mark 100 years of the birth of Malaysia’s first prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra al-Haj tomorrow.
Minister Datuk Paduka Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir said the tahlil at the National Mosque here would be held after Zohor (afternoon) prayers and would be attended by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Muslim Cabinet ministers and the late Tunku’s friends.
