SEREMBAN: A bank officer is being sought by the police to help in investigations into a criminal breach of trust case where the accounts of six clients amounting to RM285,000 were misappropriated.
Deputy CID chief Supt Ab Razak Ab Ghani identified the man as Lim Ah Ming @ Simon (IC: 4965938) whose last known address was 15, Jalan Permata 6 in Taman Permata here.
He said Lim had been serving the RHB bank here for 19 years and had dealt directly with the victims.
“The bank clients placed their trust in Ah Ming because he had been serving the bank for a long time,” he said.
Supt Ab Razak said police received two reports on Feb 4 and another four complaints yesterday that transactions of between RM20,000 and RM25,000 were not updated into their accounts.
He said the victims all claimed to have dealt with Lim.
