KUALA LUMPUR: The Government’s move to allow a free flow of food items into the market has enabled consumers to buy popular food items at increasingly low prices over the years, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Deputy Minister Datuk S. Subramaniam said.
He said by ensuring adequate supply and also with the ministry keeping tabs on suppliers, Malaysians now could buy such items at a much lower price than before, especially during festive seasons.
