Ling launches Malacca’s festivities

MALACCA: Jonker Walk, decorated with thousands of lanterns, was all lit up last night after MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik officially launched the lantern display to mark the beginning of the Chinese New Year celebration in the state. 

Dr Ling and Datin Seri Ena Ling were accompanied by state Chinese New Year carnival committee chairman Datuk Wira Gan Boon Leong, state MCA chief Datuk Wira Poh Ah Tiam, state exco Datuk Seah Kwi Tong and other leaders.
