IPOH: Sixteen foreign women, suspected to be involved in prostitution here, were arrested during a police operation at a hotel in Jalan Gopeng here on Friday.
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Ismail Abdullah said seven of the women were from Vietnam, four from China, two each from Thailand and Russia while one was from Uzbekistan.
