PETALING JAYA: All security guard firms will have to be connected online to the Home Ministry once the smart card for security personnel is launched next month.
Home Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Aseh Che Mat said such an online system would make it easier for security guard firms to apply for the smart cards and also speed up the vetting of prospective workers by the ministry.
