PUTRAJAYA: If all state governments gazette the uniform Syariah laws agreed to by the Rulers Council, there will be no need to amend Schedule 9 of the Federal Constitution, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim
The schedule referred to the division of power between the Federal and state governments on syariah laws.
