'Confidence in US eroding'

KUALA LUMPUR: The continued ignorance of the United States on the mandate of the United Nations will erode world confidence on the superpower, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said. 

He said Washington's lack of ability to play a balanced role in the international arena, especially in Iraq, the Palestinian-Israel conflict and North Korea, would create hatred against the United States and the West in the Muslim world.
