KAMPAR: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik said he was willing to step down as president even before his tenure ends in 2005 if the succession problem in the party can be solved earlier.
He said resolving the problem was an important milestone he had to achieve before he could step down as party president.
