MUAR: The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry suspects that a licensed music compact disc production company with 11 factories is involved in organised crime activities besides producing pirated music materials.
Its minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the company, which even used its own labels on the pirated CDs, also funded several loan sharks in the country.
