KUALA LUMPUR: Police discovered drugs worth RM500,000 inside a condominium rented by a gunman who used his son as a human shield during a three-hour standoff with police in Desa Petaling here late Tuesday.
At the height of the drama, the 39-year-old suspect put a gun to his head in a suicide attempt but his 12-year-old son pleaded with him.
