Jack Straw to visit Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Jack Straw will arrive here tomorrow for a one-day official visit. 

It will be Straw’s first visit to Malaysia since becoming foreign secretary in June 2001, the British High Commission said in a statement issued here yesterday.  

Straw is scheduled to call on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. 

He will also hold discussions with his Malaysian counterpart, Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar, on bilateral and international issues including the war against terrorism. – Bernama
