KUALA LUMPUR: Gemencheh state assemblyman Datuk Waad Mansor had participated in three exco meetings allowing a company to obtain quarry land when there was documentary evidence to show that his teacher wife was then a director and shareholder of the company, the Court of Appeal heard yesterday.
DPP Yaacob Md Sam argued that the former exco member of Negri Sembilan should have been convicted by the High Court on Oct 8, 1999, instead of being acquitted after a full trial.
