GENTING HIGHLANDS: Colourful costumes stole the spotlight at a joint “Cultural Night” organised by MCA headquarters Sports Club, Koperasi Serbaguna Malaysia Berhad (KSM) and Koperasi Jayadiri Malaysia Berhad (Kojadi) here last night.

About 100 staff members of the three organisations turned up for the event, with some dressed in national costumes of countries such as Japan, Thailand, China and Malaysia.

In his speech, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik thanked the staff for their hard work and dedication, which ensured the smooth running of party activities.

He said that all the staff should take part in the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman groundbreaking ceremony on Jan 12.

Dr Ling, who was the guest of honour, received a RM10,000 donation for Utar from the club. Also present was Kojadi chairman Datuk Francis Huang and KSM honorary secretary Lo Kong Boon.
