KUALA LUMPUR: PAS is disappointed that two of the largest Islamic organisations in Indonesia have called for an end to syariah laws in that country, where about 80% of the population are Muslims.
Party vice-president Datuk Dr Hassan Ali said the organisations were “not sensitive” to efforts by other countries trying to establish syariah as the primary law where most of the people were Muslims.
