A 42-year-old man who bought some roti canai and teh tarik for his 75-year-old father's breakfast, found him drowned in his flooded house at Kampung Masjid in Jalan Perak, George Town. The son, Nasir Sabri Amanullah Sahib said he, together with a team of rescue officers, found the body of his father, Amanullah Sahib Kalandir, floating in the living room of the house at 8.15am Sunday (Nov 5). It was reported that rescue officers did not find Amanullah during the first two evacuation rounds at 10pm on Saturday and later at 3am the next day. "We went searching for him for the third time at 8.15am," said Nasir.
