Ustaz Bollywood: I'll continue to preach for as long as I live

Independent preacher Haslin Baharim (pic) wants to continue preaching despite facing the ban in Johor and Singapore. Haslin, popularly known as Ustaz Bollywood, admitted that he was shocked to be banned from giving religious talk in the southern state but respected the decision of the Johor Islamic Religious Department. "My struggle to dakwah (for Islam) will not die regardless of the events happening to me. I will continue to preach my way and as long as society wants me," he told Kosmo! Haslin and the grand mufti of Zimbabwe Ismail Menk were banned from giving religious talks in Johor and Singapore over concerns that their lectures contain elements which could cause social and racial disharmony. Haslin said the people can judge whether his lectures were racist. He said he is willing to explain himself to the Johor Sultan. "Like I said, I would continue to preach as long as I live," Haslin said urging the public not to blame any parties but to pray for him.
