Entrails from the victim of a crocodile attack were found Tuesday in Sungai Kuala Besar, Betong, in Southern Thailand. A search and rescue team found the entrails tangled on a piece of wood but the body of the victim, Bentayyan Ilah, 31, has yet to be found. District OCPD Dept Supt Fahdil Antum Abdullah said the remains were sent to hospital for DNA testing. He also said that police were also attacked by a crocodile which suddenly appeared while they were carrying out the operation, and fired two shots at the reptile. Bentayyan and a friend were fishing in the river near Kampung Tambak when they were attacked on Sept 25.
