> Hundreds attend dinner thrown by ‘future world’s richest man’
Hundreds of members of the new company supposedly set up by Chinese national Zhang Jian – the self-proclaimed “future richest man in the world” – attended a dinner he sponsored in Johor Baru. The dinner was held in a restaurant on Sunday night. The company gave RM1,000 to those members who shaved their heads or dyed their hair yellow. According to the person in charge of the event, Zhang decided not to attend the dinner because he did not want to create chaos. Police had yet to comment on the matter.
> Kwok to postpone concert
Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok reportedly wants to postpone his world tour concert to next year. There has been speculation that the 51-year-old singer wants to spend time with his wife Moka Fang, who is expected to deliver their child at the end of this year. However, the couple, who married last week in Hong Kong, did not confirm or deny Fang’s rumoured pregnancy so far. The media had reported that this was because some Chinese believe that such good news should only be shared after three months to prevent a miscarriage.
