Skeletal remains found by a rubber tapper at Kampung Lepan Rambai in Pasir Puteh are believed to be that of a man who went missing since September last year. Kelantan police chief Datuk Dr Ab Rahman Ismail said the father of the victim, Adam Saudi, 21, has identified the remains. Saudi Hussin, 50, recognised the necklace made out of shoelace and a ring often worn by the victim. "According to Saudi, his son had left their home in a motorcycle on Sept 4 and did not return since. However, a missing person report was not lodged," said Ab Rahman. The father also revealed that the victim, whose Thai mother lives in Golok, did not have any identification documents. Post-mortem results from Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II found signs of injury on the back of the skull. However, the father claimed that the victim sustained a head injury from a previous accident. The case has been classified as sudden death while police continue to search for the motorcycle allegedly ridden by the victim to verify the statement given by the father.
