The Kuala Lumpur City Hall has denied news report that it will be implementing a congestion tax in the city centre after the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Line 1 begins operation. "No such policy, decision or suggestion from any parties whether from the Federal Territories Ministry, Transport Ministry or DBKL," KL Mayor Datuk Seri Mohd Amin Nordin Abdul Aziz said to Kosmo! via WhatsApp Thursday. He was asked to comment over a news report that DBKL was in the midst of finalising details on a congestion tax system in the capital city.
