Three pupils hit by car at traffic light junction

Three primary school pupils were injured after a car rammed into them at a traffic light junction at Jalan Sultan Sulaiman in Kuala Terengganu on Sunday. During the 1.30pm accident, the Year Two pupils had just finished school and were crossing the road from the right to the left lane. The 29-year-old driver was coming from the left lane heading towards Dungun in his Perodua Myvi when the incident occurred. The driver pulled an emergency brake but could not avoid them. All three pupils were sent to Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah for treatment.
