Datuk Siti Nurhaliza’s manager Rozi Abdul Razak has debunked rumours that the diva is pregnant again after suffering a miscarriage earlier this year. Rozi urged the administrator of Facebook page Kaki Share to immediately remove and stop sharing the new which bore the title, “Latest! Siti Nurhaliza is pregnant; Manager Rozi wrote special poem for pregnancy”.
> Domestic helper sentenced to 30 months’ jail for theft
In Malacca, the magistrate’s court sentenced a domestic helper to 30 months’ jail for theft. The 34-year-old woman from Indonesia pleaded guilty to stealing jewellery worth RM20,000 from her employer’s house in Taman Bukit Piatu earlier this month. According to the charge sheet, the accused had stolen gold earrings, necklaces and pendants.
>MMEA rescues over 100 shama birds
The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) rescued at least 100 shama birds while doing a routine check near Pulau Indah on boat heading to Indonesia. Officers also found and nabbed 54 illegal immigrants hiding on board. Klang district MMEA head Capt Mohd Rosli Abdullah said the birds were meant to be smuggled to Indonesia for between RM1,000 and RM2,000 each. The case is being investigated under Section 60(2) of the Wildlife Conservation Act 2010, while the arrested illegals are being detained under the Immigration Act 1959/1963.
