Yusry and Lisa: No social media plans for baby Yahaira

Proud parents, Yusry Abdul Halim and Lisa Surihani, have no plans to introduce their baby daughter, Yahaira Leanne Yusry, to the public especially on social media. The celebrity couple have no intention of creating a social media account for their six-month-old baby, saying they would like to see Yahaira to grow up just like other kids. "When (she's) good at using technology, we will allow her to make own decisions," Lisa was quoted as saying during a live Oscars 2016 red carpet show.

Local celebrity power couple, Awal Shaari and Scha Alyahya, revealed that they have been approached by a TV station to host a special program about their family of three. Scha, an actress and TV host, said they have an offer to do a show offering parenting tips on how they raised their 19-month-old daughter, Lara Alana. Lara already has an impressive 1.5 million followers on her Instagram account. "The concept has not been decided yet, as to whether it'd be reality-based or not since (we are) still in the process of discussion," said Scha. She said she and her husband often receive e-mails from fans asking for tips and the TV show offer is a good opportunity for them to share parenting knowledge. Awal said he did not expect their toddler would gain such a huge following on social media as they initially created an account purely for the purpose of documenting her life.

The husband of Taiwanese singer Selina Jen has denied that he was having affair with a young model. Richard Chang, who is a lawyer, said he did not have a 22-year-old girlfriend as reported by the media and asked that people stop accusing him. Jen’s music representative declined to comment on the speculation. On Friday, Jen and Chang, whom have been married for almost five years, announced that they had decided to get divorced in a Facebook post. Jen is a member of the popular Taiwanese all-girl singing group S.H.E..

Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou was spotted visiting his model wife Hannah Quinlivan, who is shooting a film in Paris. Some of his fans had flown to Paris after learning that the famous couple would be there. A Chinese netizen posted a photo of the couple having coffee in a cafe there recently. The netizen stated that he was very excited to see the couple enjoy some romantic time together.
