A 19-year-old woman who went missing for six days was mysteriously found on the roof top of a college campus in Baling, Alor Setar on Tuesday night. It was reported that a staff of the college campus, who is an ustaz, was the person who discovered Nurul Nadwa Tajul Urus. Earlier, the college had carried out a massive search operation with the help of police and Rela to no avail. It is claimed that only the ustaz could see the missing person and that she appeared to be trapped. She was purportedly "released" after a mass prayer and verses from the al-Quran were read out. Nurul Nadwa did not return home since Sept 24 after she went to attend a programme at the college. Adding confusion to her disappearance was the fact that she was not seen leaving the premises. Her parents said they took the incident as a test from God and did not wish to comment further. A spokesperson of the college has confirmed the incident and declined to reveal more information out of respect to the victim's family.
