A man in Pokok Sena, Kedah flashed his private parts to a village committee chairman to express his anger over unresolved flash flooding issue. The village safety and development committee’s (JKKK) chairman, who did not wish to be identified, said he was disappointed by the man's action. “As the chairman, I can only raise their problem to the right channels, and I can't afford to fund it myself," he said. He hoped people would understand that his job as the committee chairman was to help voice out villagers' grouses, and that he was not assigned to solve financial issues.

The Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL) is considering turning roads under elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) tracks into bicycle lanes, to encourage more people to ride as an alternative way to commute. Mayor Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Talib said the plan could also help to ease traffic congestion while turning Kuala Lumpur into a bicycle-friendly city.
