The Perak Islamic Religious Department (Jaipk) will take action against Raja Bomoh, whose real name is Ibrahim Mat Zin, once the state Fatwa Council gazettes his teachings as deviant. Jaipk director Datuk Mohd Yusop Husin said so far, Ibrahim is the only person identified as spreading deviant teachings in Perak. The Malaysian Consultative Council for Islamic Organisation (Mapim) has also voiced support for the state Fatwa Council to declare Raja Bomoh as unIslamic. Its deputy president Zulkifly Ibrahim has urged the relevant authority to take action to curb the spread of unIslamic teachings.
