Woman almost raped by employer near Genting Highlands

A 25-year-old woman managed to escape after she was nearly raped by her employer last Friday. The suspect had stopped his car by the roadside near Genting Highlands, Pahang, before he started harassing her into having sex. After having dinner at a restaurant near the Gombak tol plaza, the suspect drove to Genting Highlands instead of Shah Alam where the victim lives. The victim had pleaded him to let her go, before she pushed him away, and ran off the car. Fortunately, an Indonesian man riding a motorcycle was passing by that area and helped to bring the victim to the nearest police beat base. The suspect was nabbed by police on Thursday. The victim had only started working for a week at the suspect's company located in Sentul.

> Father beats boy for failing to get ciggies
A seven-year-old boy was hit by his father for failing to get him cigarettes. The suspect told the boy to buy him the cigarettes from a nearby grocery shop without giving him any money at about 10am on Wednesday. When the boy returned without the cigarettes, the man slapped him before hitting him with a belt at their house in Seremban. The boy ran to his neighbour for help and a police report had been lodged. Police had detained the 37-year-old suspect for further investigation.
