HYUNDAI Motor Group has spent the past three years building a sprawling 1,174ha campus about half an hour from Savannah, Georgia – a futuristic electric vehicle hub designed to showcase the marvels of modern manufacturing.
Invited guests – and soon the public – can already tour the complex in Ellabell. Visitors ride golf carts through vast factory halls, where robots fetch parts for human workers and mechanical arms weld panels onto car bodies.
