GOVERNMENTS across the world are proposing social media bans for children.

In Australia, they are looking at prohibiting children under 14 or 16 from using social media, depending on the jurisdiction. It’s a move being backed by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, with the Australian federal government committing A$6.5mil (RM19.4mil) towards a trial of age verification technology.
