THERE is a "starter pack" meme making rounds online on several Hari Raya Aidilfitri tropes as seen in advertisements leading to the festivity, or at the very least, the ones that lend to the stereotyped mirth and merriment.

Among them include Hari Raya tunes on the accordion, scenes of parents reminding children to return to their kampung, kids playing with fireworks at night in the vast yard before a varnished wooden house and of course, the unexpected presence of a cute cat – preferably a ginger.
