WITH the current hot weather, the Department of Environment (DOE) has started enforcement and monitoring activities of open burning, and is increasing the frequency of monitoring and patrolling to prevent it.

“This is done on land and by drone surveillance to monitor flammable areas and open burning incidents carried out by irresponsible parties,” it tells Sunday Star.
