LOCALS are looking forward to pampering themselves with a holiday at the end of the year, even if it is only within the country.

Some Malaysians cited the weak ringgit as one reason they prefer local holidays. Others say the recent announcement about the 15th General Election (GE15) being held soon led them to stay close to home.
