RCEP: Did India miss the bus?

THE world’s largest trade agreement, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) pact, was signed by 15 nations on Nov 15 during a virtual summit in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The new trading bloc thus created would cover 2.3 billion people, with the member states’ combined GDP of US$26.2 trillion accounting for around 30% of global GDP.
