A youth environmental group organised a march in Kuala Lumur last year to draw attention to the climate crisis.

THE youth of today are well informed of political developments and are concerned about the state of the nation. They would not appreciate any undermining of democracy, says political scientist Prof Mohd Azizuddin Mohd Sani.

“We must understand that the youth are idealistic. They want things to be done the right way and subscribe to the principles of democracy, ” says Mohd Azizuddin, who is from Universiti Utara Malaysia’s School of International Studies.
