PUTRAJAYA: The new Malaysia Education Blueprint 2026-2035 must not be confined to Putrajaya but must reach all corners of the country, says Fadhlina Sidek.

The Education Minister said the strategies within the blueprint must be felt by the grassroots, especially by teachers and students in rural schools.

"All implementations must follow a plan," she said during a forum on the National Education Plan on Tuesday (Jan 20).

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abd Kadir added that the plan's implementation would further elevate Malaysia’s education system and position the country as a leading global model.

He said the core objective is to develop a generation of well-rounded individuals recognised for their values and contributions to society.

“This present generation is our main priority. Our goal is to produce good people,” he said, adding that strong plans are insufficient without effective implementation.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to launch the National Education Plan 2026-2035 at 1pm today (Jan 20) at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre.
