Aimed at celebrating creativity and innovation, the event, which brought together over 75 teams from both primary and secondary schools across Melaka, was hosted by the Multimedia University (MMU) Melaka Campus.

JI introduced primary school pupils to the maker movement, where pairs of pupils designed creative games using open-source software or hardware.

Themed “Game for Change: Justice & Peace”, the competition tasked pupils with creating games to raise awareness about fairness, safety and strong communities.

Meanwhile, YIC engaged secondary school students in solving real-life problems using technology.

The theme “AI for Social Good” encouraged participants to explore how AI can support everyday heroes in their communities.

The event also featured a train-the-trainer workshop, where educators worked alongside university mentors to gain hands-on experience with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)-based innovation projects, ensuring teachers are equipped to guide future generations of young innovators.

The event culminated in a prize-giving ceremony celebrating the top-performing teams for their creativity, social impact, and problem-solving skills.
