Fully-funded science event in Brazil
Application deadline: Feb 26
> Applications are open for the São Paulo School of Advanced Science (SPSAS) on Quantum Materials.
> To be held from July 16-26, at the University of São Paulo’s Physics Institute, Brazil, SPSAS is for graduate students and/or young researchers.
> Focused on fundamental, theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum materials, SPSAS will feature lectures and courses led by leading researchers in the field.
> The topics to be discussed include experimental quantum material growth techniques, advanced methods of materials characterisation, density functional theory (DFT), topological insulators, and heavy fermion systems.
> There will also be two poster sessions where participants can present their research findings.
> The registration fees, transportation, and accommodation expenses of selected applicants will be fully covered by the São Paulo Research Foundation.
> To apply online, submit an abstract of the poster that will be presented; a copy of graduate and undergraduate transcripts; and curriculum vitae.
