Record number of scholars head to Taiwan

SIXTY Malaysians will be heading to Taiwan to pursue academic degrees and short-term Mandarin courses under two government scholarship programmes this year.

The presentation ceremony of the Taiwan Scholarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES), awarded by the Republic of China (Taiwan) Education Ministry, was held in Kuala Lumpur on July 7.
