A slim man with a ramrod straight posture, Mr Teoh Teik Lee (now Datuk) was tasked with moulding our rowdy bunch of 23 young lads into Physical Education (PE) specialist teachers at the Specialist Teachers’ Training Institute (STTI) (now known as Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Ilmu Khas).

But the responsibility of training us back in 1962 paled in comparison with the challenges he had taken on in the years prior.
