Taiwan Fellowship 2023

> The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia has announced that the Taiwan Fellowship is open for application.

> The fellowship awards foreign experts and scholars specialised in the social sciences and humanities related to Taiwan the opportunity to conduct advanced research at universities or academic institutions in Taiwan.

> Research topics may include (but is not limited to) the Taiwan government’s policies or foreign affairs, such as the political and economic situation in the post-Covid-19 era, regional security research, gender equality, and the New Southbound Policy.

> Malaysian scholars including professors, associate professors, senior lecturers, lecturers, PhD candidates and research fellows with relevant areas of expertise are welcome to apply.

> The duration of the fellowship is from three months to one year up to the recipient’s research proposal.

> The fellowship package covers a monthly stipend of NTD50,000 to NTD60,000 (approximately RM6,250 to RM7,500), one direct round-trip economy-class air ticket between Malaysia and Taiwan, and an accident insurance coverage of NTD1mil (RM150,000).

> Applicants are required to complete the online application form at http://taiwanfellowship.ncl.edu.tw/eng/apply01.aspx, and send a hard copy of all application materials and documentations by post to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia. Details:
