I REFER to the article “Money and madness in numbers” by Dorairaj Nadason (The Star, April 9). Let me say my piece.
Compared to many other countries, ours had done relatively well in using our natural wealth as an endowment to build our economy. It is hard to think of a former colony – be it Belgian, British, Dutch or French – that had used its abundance of natural resources to successfully build a balanced economy after independence.
