RESEARCH productivity in Malaysian universities has improved since 2010. A record 15 universities qualified for the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2021 and a record 22 universities made it into the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings 2022.
To the contrary, many graduates are facing unemployment – Malaysia’s graduate employability rate stands at 85.5%.
