> Organised by Eats, Shoots and Roots, a team dedicated to helping urban people and communities make the most out of their urban spaces; from converting balconies into edible gardens, to bringing back outdoor classrooms as a place of learning and discovery.
> Aim: To equip primary school teachers with knowledge of how to guide their students in setting up an edible school garden in accordance with their individual capacity.
> Each primary school teacher will then nominate five students whom they will guide through the process, with the help of Eats, Shoots and Roots.
> The programme will include:
• A Teacher’s Workshop on Oct 16 (10am–11am)
• Monthly Kids Kits (sent to each nominated student)
• A guidebook with worksheets to journey through the various stages of growing local vegetables together
> The programme is free.
> Limited to 11 participants.
> Priority will be given to primary school teachers from local schools.
